Before we start working on your CV
Once your order is received, you will be assigned a dedicated CV Writer who will contact you to request some initial information to ensure you get the most from the service. We will ask you to send us a copy of your existing CV (if you have one), along with details of any job roles you are planning to apply for. It is no problem if you do not have any of this information. Your CV Writer will also arrange a convenient time to complete your CV Consultation.
Step 1) CV Consultation
Our Graduate CV service includes a full CV consultation to gather all of the information required to produce your CV. Your CV Consultation can be conducted by Microsoft Teams, telephone or face-to-face at our Offices in Cardiff & Bristol. There are no forms to fill in.
Your CV Consultation will take between 40 and 60 minutes (although we allow as long as is required). During the consultation your dedicated CV Writer will ask you a range of questions to ensure they fully understand your skills, experience, achievements and career objectives. Your CV Writer can also help you to identify achievements, transferable skills and experience which you may not have considered adding to your CV
Step 2) Drafting your new CV
Once your CV Consultation has been completed, your CV Writer will begin working on your new CV. A first draft of your CV will be ready for your approval within 5 working days as standard. We also offer Express Turnaround options* if you have an urgent deadline (*subject to availability).
Your CV will be tailored for the role / type of role you are aiming for and include relevant keywords to ensure your CV works for AI / ATS and the human reader.
Step 3) Review & Approval
Once completed, a draft copy of your new CV will be sent to you by email. You will then have the opportunity to review your new CV to ensure all the information is correct and that you are happy with the design and structure. You can then request any changes you would like.
There is no limit to the number of changes you can request and your CV Writer will continue working on your CV until you are 100% satisfied with the finished document. Once approved by you, we will issue the final copies of your CV in Microsoft Word (fully editable) and PDF formats. Your new CV will then be ready to use for job applications.
