We can write a CV for any member of staff based on information we gather from them during our consultation. The staff member will have the opportunity to view a draft of their CV as soon as it is complete, we will then work with them to make any changes required until they are completely happy with the document.

We can also prepare a professional Cover Letter to accompany any CV produced. This can be targeted to a particular role (or type of role) or we can provide a Speculative letter to help when applying to target employers.

This service can be delivered both on site and remotely. The professional Cover Letter service costs £29 per Letter.

Interview Coaching

We will educate staff members on what can be expected during the interview process, how to build confidence prior to interview and how to sell oneself effectively during the interview. We will also assist them to prepare answers for tough questions they may face. Each staff member will also receive relevant course material to take away with them containing further information on preparing for interviews.

How the Interview Coaching service works:

Stage 1)

At the beginning of your session your consultant will ask some relevant interview questions in order assess the current skill level of each member of staff and identify which areas require the most attention.

Stage 2)

  • Guidance on how to research a potential employer before interview
  • Preparation of some standard answers to tough questions which may be asked at interview
  • Helping them to formulate answers to competency based interview questions based on their own experience
  • Teaching them some techniques to build rapport with the interviewer(s)
  • Providing relevant questions to ask a potential employer at interview
  • Providing advice on how to dress to impress and professional body language
  • Practical techniques to ensure they arrive on time and fully prepared

Stage 3)

At the end of the session we will stage a short Mock Interview comprising 4/5 questions to allow the staff member to benchmark their progress and practice the new techniques they have learned.

Mock Interview

This can take this form of an individual one-to-one mock interview session, in person or over the telephone with feedback on performance.

Each session lasts for 30 minutes. We start by asking a series of interview questions, tailored as closely as possible to the type of interview the individual is likely to face. We will then provide them with honest, structured feedback on their interview technique including:

  • How well they listened to the interview questions
  • If they understood the questions being asked
  • How well they answered the questions
  • If they interacted appropriately with the interviewer
  • How well they explained their skills and experience
  • If they highlighted relevant skills and achievements for the position
  • Overall performance and successes

We can also video the session if required to enable each individual to self-analyse their performance

Job Search Support

We can work with staff members to help them organise their search for alternative employment, giving them up to date advice on how to succeed in today’s employment market. We will also direct them to a range of job search tools such as internet job-boards and CV databases which will assist them to find a new role.

Confidence Coaching

Our experienced Career Coach can work with staff members to improve their confidence so that they are ready for any challenges they may face. We can take through any barriers to success and set realistic goals, creating a personal action plan.

Our experienced CV Consultants will deliver a comprehensive half-day or full-day workshop covering every aspect of the development of interview winning CVs for today’s job market. This can take the form of a one-to-one or group training session during which we can provide training to staff members on the different types of CV and how they should be used effectively. We will then work with them to significantly improve their current CV. We will also ensure that they are equipped with the tools to tailor their CV for future job applications.

Interview Workshop

Our experienced consultants will deliver a half-day or full-day group Interview Coaching workshop covering a range of topics to help staff develop and improve their interview technique. As well as assisting with the topics listed below, we will also provide advice and guidance on interview issues which group member are worried about to ensure that they feel their own questions have been answered and further improve their confidence for the future.

This can be conducted one-to-one or in a group. We will educate staff members on what can be expected during the interview process, how to build confidence prior to interview and how to sell oneself effectively during the interview. Each staff member will also receive relevant course material to take away with them containing further information on preparing for interviews.

Follow Up Support

We will provide follow up support for each staff member on any issues they may face.
