How the Skype / Telephone Interview Coaching Service Works

Stage 1) Consultation & Assessment

At the beginning of your session your Interview Coach will conduct a short consultation to gather some basic information to help us assess your existing skill level and issues you feel you need help with. This will reviewing your CV and any application documents supplied to get a full picture of you as a professional as well as discussing your previous interview performance and any specific issues you have faced. We will also discuss your current situation as well as your reasons for seeking a new role and career objectives. You will also have the opportunity to provide us with details of specific roles you are targeting to enable us to tailor the session to meet you requirements

Next, your Interview Coach will ask you some ‘test’ interview questions of the type you are likely to face at interview to enable assessment of your current skill level. This will help us to identify which areas require the most attention for you. Your Coach will also discuss with you which areas of your interview technique you feel require the most work and what aspects of the interview you are feeling most anxious or stressed about.

Stage 2) Feedback & Coaching

Your Interview Coach will then deliver detailed feedback on your assessment, providing specific advice and guidance for tackling each question / type of question along with guidance on how you can improve your answers and overall approach.

This can include:

  • Guidance on how to Research a potential employer before your interview 
  • Preparation of some standard answers to Tough Questions you may be asked at interview
  • Helping you to anticipate what questions are likely to be covered in your interview
  • Helping you to formulate your own answers to Competency Based Interview Questions
  • Teaching you some Techniques to build rapport with the interviewer(s)
  • Providing Relevant Questions for you to ask a potential employer at interview
  • Providing advice on improving your Body Language and appropriate dress code
  • Practical techniques to ensure you arrive on time and Fully Prepared

Stage 3) Mock Interview

At the end of the session we stage a short Mock Interview to allow you to practice implementing the advice and guidance provided by your Interview Coach and benchmark your progress. Because we use real job interview questions throughout you can be assured that you will gain a realistic understanding of your interview performance has improved. Written Feedback Notes

You will receive a full written report including notes on everything covered during your session. This will include details of strong points, areas for improvement and general advice for each of the interview questions covered as well as advice on improving your overall approach and confidence. We provide Interview Coaching at 5 different levels (Entry Level, Graduate Level, Professional Level, Senior Manager Level and Executive Level) to ensure we provide a service which meets your needs no matter what stage of career you have reached .

All Interview Coaching sessions are 1.5 Hours – You can book as many sessions as you need

Entry Level (Salary Up to £35,000) – 1.5 Hour Session with written Feedback Notes


Graduate Level (for Graduate Schemes / Assessment Centres) – 1.5 Hour Session with written Feedback Notes


Professional Level (Salary £35,000 to £60,000) – 1.5 Hour Session with written Feedback Notes


Senior Manager Level (Salary £60,000 to £80,000) – 1.5 Hour Session with written Feedback Notes


Executive Level (Salary £80,000+) – 2 Hour Session with written Feedback Notes
